ALF Foundations OnLine January 2021
Course Description
Introduction to the important principles and many designs included in the family of ALF Therapy appliances
Even though many have assumed that there is only one ALF design, there are in fact many designs based on the individual needs of the patient. Course participants were introduced to the family of ALF appliance designs designs as well as indications for use and basic adjustment sequencing.
14 hours of online and interactive presentations were delivered by Dr. Darick Nordstrom and Dr. Angie Tenholder. In addition, over 7 hours of pre-course material were available to support a comprehensive learning experience with a total of over 21 hours of continued education available through the Academy of General Dentistry Program Approval for Continuing Education.
ALF FOUNDATIONS ONLINE 2020
Course participants had over 14 hours of live interactive online content as well as access to over 10 hours of pre-course material to benefit their online learning experience. They were introduced to the ALF Therapy principles and family of appliances with the goal of exploring possibilities while explaining the limitations of some of the popular options in dentofacial orthopedics.

ALF 101 - JANUARY 2018
Course participants were able to receive over 16 hours of clinical and classroom instruction as well as the opportunity to learn from online pre-course material. They were introduced to the ALF Therapy principles and family of appliances with the goal of exploring possibilities while explaining the limitations of some of the popular options in dentofacial orthopedics. In addition, they had the hands-on opportunity to fabricate, insert and adjust ALF NLA appliances, learn the 2 finger assessment and personal craniofacial release techniques and have personalized instruction on the basics of orofacial myology
